Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday July 20th, 2013 after a courageous battle with COPD and his heart at 86 years old. Loving and dedicated husband to Kathleen (nee Keeso) for 65 years. Loving father to Irene (Giulio), Lorraine (Larry), Katherine (John), Don (Shirley), and John (Margaret). Proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Lovingly remember by sisters-in-law Shirley (Piercey) and Shirley Farrier (Keeso) and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the doctors and medical staff at Humber Regional Hospital (Church Street) for their compassionate care.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday from 7-9 pm.
A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday July 24th, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
