Lisa Marie Luce was a daughter who knew her roots gave her the confidence to follow her heart. A mother and a teacher who believed she was there to mentor, nurture and love their independence. A sister who understood that blood was the bond and that people are stronger together. A friend who cherished all the honest and true characters that made her story an epic journey and lastly she was my wife, my lover, my pillar who filed every day with passion, strength and adventure. An adventure that so tragically, unexpectedly and unfairly was cut short on November 28th at 8:58 pm. So to the dealer who dealt this horrific hand I raise a finger and say, "you took one of the great ones, but the body she honed so well didn't make it easy for ya. She is still with all of us, running beside us, guiding and filling our lives with her love for laughter and her passion to live." She will be missed like no other and will forever be a reminder that a stubborn devotion to constantly question, to constantly push and constantly love the moment you're in is what makes this crazy journey wonderful. I will miss her like I know so many will. Rest in peace my love.
