Shaw – Linda
Passed away suddenly on Friday December 12th 2014.
Born 1949 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Linda Ellen (White) Shaw, was the eldest daughter of Jacquelin (deceased) and James White (deceased), and loving big sister of Glenn, Darryl and Janet. In 1970 she married the love of her life and best friend, Joseph William Shaw, and in true Linda fashion, warm-heartedly embraced her Father-in-law Cecil (deceased), Mother-in-law, Hilda, brother-in-law Mike, and sister-in-law Anne (Nush). She was the most wonderful mother and friend in the world to her girls Lori and Heather, the three of them inseparable. As she nurtured them into adulthood she welcomed Brian and Paul into her family, adoring and fussing over her son-in-laws. The next stage in her life was her favourite, opening her heart further, becoming the greatest Gramma Gabba to Sofia, Evan, Cole, Marin, Graham and Meagan. When she wasn't spoiling her family and friends, Linda was leader of the Yayas and a mother to everyone she knew. We miss her beyond any measure imaginable. We love you Linda!
