Linda McQuade

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Gail McQuade, who peacefully left us on February 25th, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on May 23rd, 1946.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Brian (Claire) and Derek (Tracey), and her beloved grandchildren, Emily, Jordan, Liam, Ronnie and Erin who were the light of her life. Predeceased by her eldest son Ron McQuade (2009). Linda’s warmth and kindness touched everyone around her, and her family was always her greatest joy.

In her final weeks, Linda was lovingly cared for at Hospice Wellington. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the exceptional nursing team for their compassion and dedication. Special appreciation is also given to Pat Stuart and Pat Hickman for their unwavering support. 

Linda will be remembered for her caring nature, her selflessness, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Visitation will take place on Friday Feb 28th, 2025 from 1-2pm followed by her service at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations of grocery gift cards to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated (no monetary funds).

Linda’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be missed deeply, but her love will remain with us always.
