Lillian Isabelle Barnes (nee Clint) passed peacefully at Tall Pines Long Term Care facility on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Angus Barnes, and loving mother of Arvil John (deceased as an infant), Elizabeth Maxwell (Bill), Marion Brown (Dave), Suzanne Knutson (Fred), Janice Fenik (Ralph), Evan, Clint (the late Jamie), Roy (Hayden), Bradley (Michelle). 

 Dearly loved by 24 Grandchildren and their spouses as well as 17 Great-grandchildren. Much loved sibling of brothers and sisters who have passed: Bill, Elwin, Audrey, Helen, Norma, Ralph and Ruth. Remembered fondly by her in-laws, Wes McLeod, John and Joy Holley, Verna Barnes and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home 52 Main St. South Brampton, on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:30 am–1:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. 

 A reception will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main Street South, second floor, from 2:00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Lillian has arranged for a cremation, so the interment will be at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
