GIBSON, Lillian (Lee) - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Waterford Long Term Care in Oakville at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Norman Sayer, pilot in RAF, killed in 1945 and Reg Gibson in July, 1986. Dearest mother of Brian Sayer and his wife Pat of Arizona, Colin Sayer and his wife Lynda of South Carolina and Clive Gibson and his wife Ginny of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Robyn Hudson (Brian), Lisa Brake (Michael) in Mississauga, Debra Hadaway (Randy), Christine Townsend (Barry) of South Carolina, twins Eric and Amy Gibson of Toronto. Lee also leaves great-grandchildren Emily, Allison and Ethan Hudson, Owen and Ben Brake, Andrew and Alex Hadaway and Isabel, Olivia and Ian Townsend. Survived by her brother Jack Naylor of England. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St., Oakville (905-844-3221) on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 10 a.m. until a celebration of Lee's life which will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
