Lillian Caroppo
Passed away peacefully, at 80 years of age. Predeceased by her devoted parents, William & Lily Bollard, and her beloved husband, Salvatore. Survived by her daughter, Christine (Brian Clarence) and by her dear sisters Diana Aikin (the late Ron) and Irene Verner (Ted). Loving grandmother to Garnet Clarence. Remembered by her nephew Andrew Verner (Allison), great-niece Ella and great-nephew Jacob. Predeceased by Baby Vern. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Grenadier and Toronto Grace Hospital Palliative Care Centre.
Lillian, against all odds, survived a rare childhood disorder. Her stoicism and iron will bore the pain and bullying her disability engendered. Her wish was to live in a lighthouse—her life, a beacon of hope and survival.
