It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Liliana Maria Zuccato on June 26th, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved and loving mother of Carmen (Raymond), Christine, and Dennis, and loving eldest child of Secondo Zuccato and Linda Morettin. Treasured Nonna of Vera (Rob), Daniel (Miranda), Blair, and Amelia, and Bisnonna of Evelyn, Margaret, Violet, Cole, and Benjamin. Survived by her dear sister Marina (Gianluigi).

Liliana was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sisters Gabriella and Lisetta.

Born in Bannia, Italy as one of four children, she immigrated to Toronto in 1958 where she lovingly raised her family, which was her life’s devotion. All who knew her would agree that she was a hard-working, strong, resilient woman who took joy in very actively supporting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved singing and especially her garden, where many lovely flowers continue to grow. We will do our best to keep these alive, and our memories of her will surely last in our hearts forever.

Liliana was very appreciative of the care and compassion provided by Dr. Isaac Gutman during her stay at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

In tribute to Liliana, remembrances can be made in the form of flowers or through contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority and to safely manage the adhere to social distancing requirements.
