Liefke "Lies" Devries
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Holland Christian Home ‘Faith Manor’ at the age of 93.
Lies is predeceased by her loving husband Jacob (1968). Loving mother of Theo (Julia) De Vries, Coby De Vries, Flo De Vries-Attard, Marg (Bill) Kooy, Teresa (Eric) den Engelsman, Sylvia Postma, Anita (Leo) Hiemstra.
Cherished Oma to 20 grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Lisa Kooy (2005)
Loving Oma to 33 great grandchildren.
Survived by her sisters Betty Horinga, and Ann Evers.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Weston Chapel” 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Sunday, October 31st from 2-4pm. Please RSVP by visiting www.wardfuneralhome.com or by calling 416-241-4618
A Memorial Service will be held at Covenant United Reformed Church, 265 Albion Road, Etobicoke on Monday, November 1st at 2pm.
Private Family interment will take place at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Timothy Christian School, 28 Elmhurst Drive, Etobicoke, would be appreciated.
