Lida Di Valentin (nee David)
October 17, 1925 - January 16, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lida.

Beloved wife of the late Ilario for 39 years. Dear mother to sons Romeo (Sonia) and Arnold (Dolores).

Grandmother to Anushka (Pedro) and great grandma to Sofia.

Lida will be deeply missed by her brother Toni (Belgium) and sister Amalia (Italy) along with many nieces and nephews.

Lida is also fondly remembered by Patricia and Bepe Contro (daughter of the late Giovanni Marchetto) and her daughters Irene and Aurora.

Lida was born in Arba province of Pordenone and immigrated to Canada in November 1952.

Mom loved to sew and worked as a seamstress for many years. She also had a passion for baking and making pizza, You could always count on a crowd coming over when pizza was on.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Sunday, January 23 from 4pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 24 at 10:30 am with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
