Leslie Skillen

Leslie Skillen of Lucknow passed away at Wingham Hospital on March 9, 2017 at the age of 79. Leslie was born in Ulverton, Quebec on February 13, 1938 to the late Elizabeth (Findlay) and Lorne A. Skillen. Dear dad of Wanda & Jim Blumbergs of Bowmanville, Scott & Tracy of Orangeville, Craig of Brampton, and Tracy & Scott Heard of Lucknow. Missed by his grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Kayla, Sophie and Ryan. Survived by his siblings Beverley, Larry, Eric and Gail. Predeceased by his sisters Nadine and Joan. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Braemar for all of their care and support and wish you would honour him by having chicken tonight! They would also like to thank the Wingham Hospital Staff including Dr. Marie Gear, Dr. Mark Moores, Mady, Zak and Sonya, for taking such good care of Leslie. Visitation will be held from the Ward Funeral Home (52 Main Street South, Brampton) on Saturday March 25, 2017 beginning at 11 AM immediately followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM.
