Leopold Primc

PRIMC, LEOPOLD October 8, 1927 – March 31, 2018 - Passed away peacefully in his 90th year on the morning of Saturday, March 31st, 2018 with his wife and daughter by his side. Devoted lifelong love and partner of Ema (nee Kumar) with whom he was married for 69 years; adored father of Diana (Richard) and Margret (John); cherished grandfather of Emma, and much-loved uncle to many nieces and nephews in Australia, Canada, Italy, Slovenia and the United States. He also leaves behind his much loved sister Vida in Australia. Leo and Ema were partners in life and work, unflinchingly devoted to each other, for which he was eternally thankful and proud. He will be remembered by his family as a hard-working, loving and devoted husband and father, who was determined never to let his family experience the hardships he himself had endured. He cherished his family, friends and neighbours and was always ready to share a glass of wine and a chat. The family extend their thanks to his physicians, pharmacist and the caring staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto whose loving care and dedication, especially in his final days will never be forgotten. Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7 on Wednesday, April 4 from 1:00-3:00 pm followed by a service in the Chapel at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made either to St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto or to Dom Lipa Nursing Home.
