Campbell, Leona (nee Bella)
Passed away peacefully at the Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga on Thursday April 14, 2011 in her 84th year. Leona is survived by Peter her beloved husband of 58 years. Loving mother of James (Beverly) and their children Yvonne, Ian and Graeme and John (Barbara) and their children Ellen, Anne and Alexandra. Cherished sister of Margaret Bella, Patricia Gigliotti, Delphine Kennelly (James) and Carmen Carr (Ken) and the late Alan, John, Henry, Jerome, Thomas ,Virginia, Herminia, Helen and Monica. Fondly remembered sister in law of Edna Campbell, Jessie Campbell, Dorothy Barrie and Gordon (Joan). Sadly missed by her niece Rita Wilson. Leona will be dearly missed by her family, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Thursday April 21, 2011 from 1 pm with a Memorial Service at 3 pm in the chapel .Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Fernie, B.C.As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
