Leo Arthur White, 76, of Brampton, Ontario passed away peacefully at home on December 10th, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Leo was born and raised in Pictou, Nova Scotia and it always held a special place in his heart. Leo moved to Ontario as a young man and worked for Glidden Paint Company for 25 years and then for Canada Building Materials for 16 years before retiring. Leo loved to spend time with his family and was the best Poppy ever! He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a Mr. Fix-it for family and friends. It didn’t matter if it was car repairs, home renovations or building projects, he had an amazing ability to repair or build anything.
Leo will be loving remembered by his wife Kathleen, son Leo (Barb), daughter Shelly (Brent), step-daughters Sarah (Manuel) and Victoria. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Eric (Stephanie), Katrina (Keith), Tyler (Kara), Michael, Brayden, Natalie, Nicholas, Alexander and his great-grandson Leo. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Colin (Lynda), Albert, Rick, and sisters Debbie (Eric), Darlene (Greg) along with his many nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by his father Leo Cyr, mother Rinda Brown and brother Edward (Debbie) Cyr.
