Leigh Clark

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our father, Leigh Clark, at his home in Oakville at the age of 75 on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Leigh was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Ellen Clark along with his brother Clayton. Left to cherish his memory are his children Leanne, Sonja (Scott) and two grandsons, Myles and Mason. Also left to remember him are his siblings Kathleen, Lorna (Larry), Marilyn (Don) and his numerous nieces and nephews. Leigh was a fighter in every sense of the word and always remained positive when faced with adversity. He is a 12 year post double lung transplant and 1 year post gastric cancer survivor. His pride and joy were his two grandsons and we are so thankful for the extra time we had with him. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Transplant Programme Fund at the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
