LEDA MARIA VENTURO After a lengthy illness on October 7, 2009 surrounded by her family. Leda is lovingly remembered by her sons Rory and Raiyon, and her partner Winston. Beloved daughter of Luigi and Agnese. Dear sister of Frank (Angela) and Robert (Anna). Loving aunt to Rachel, Sarah and Erica. She will be held dear in the hearts of all her uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. A special thanks to the caring doctors and nurses of Princess Margaret Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. Family will receive friends at the WARD FUNERAL HOME, WOODBRIDGE CHAPEL, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) 905-851-9100 on Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, 80 Shoreham Dr. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.
