Peacefully at Humber River Hospital our wonderful mother, Leah Totafurno (nee Guglietti), went to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, December 29, 2022 having lived to the grand old age of 102. She will be greatly missed by her children John (Lois), Sharon, David and grandson Adam as well as her remaining siblings Stella Totilo, Billy, John and extended family.
Leah will be remembered for her lifelong strong faith and devotion to Jesus Christ her Saviour and Lord. She never waivered in her Christian commitment. She met the love of her life, John Totafurno, at church. Theirs was a loving relationship rooted on a common faith that continued unabated for 63 years until John's death in 2006. Leah had an enormous capacity to give of herself to others, she willingly shared her many talents to benefit others and worked tirelessly to care for the needs of her family. She was a gifted musician, faithful friend, and diligent hard-worker in any task she undertook. She was known for her persistently positive attitude and "never give up" approach.
"Absent from the body, present with the Lord". 2 Corinthians 5:8

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 'Weston Chapel', on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14th at the Ward Funeral Home Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
