SOULLIERE, David Lawrence (Larry):
Passed away peacefully on Jan. 28th, 2015 in Toronto, ON in his 96th year. Larry will join his beloved wife of 72 years, Annie (nee Libery), and will forever be cherished by five children: David (Faye); Ardele (Brian); Marilyn (Norm); Cheryl (Rick); and Janet (Darren). Devoted grandfather to Steven, Kevin, Laurie, Jason, James, Jeff, Sylvia, Joshua and Renee as well as 9 great-grandchildren, great niece, Marilyn Brown and close family friend Soobs Patel. Dear brother of Aurore, Laura, Rita, Roland, and Russell of Sudbury, ON, all predeceased. Larry raised his family in Capreol, ON where he worked for 36 years as a millwright for the CN. He will long be remembered as a deeply religious family man, master carpenter, musician, gardener, proud Canadian who loved bringing his children vacationing and camping all across the country, ensuring they saw all the beauties of Canada and treasured friend to all who knew him. Larry was a proud WWII veteran, who served with the Canadian Fusiliers stationed in BC and the Aleutian Islands. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main St. South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Jan. 30th, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Jan. 31st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, 115 Vodden St. East, Brampton. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronoto. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson Society of Canada.
