With extreme sadness we announce the passing of our angel Krystyna Maria Diomede at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Beloved wife of John for fifty years and loving mother to Julie (Luca) and Michelle. Adored grandma to Sofia, Alessia and Mia. Dear sister to Teresa and Irene (Carl) and sister-in-law to Domenica and Margaret (Louis). She is reunited in heaven with her parents and brother-in-law Frank.

If you knew Krys, you know she loved to talk to anyone and everyone. Her magnetic personality and smile and kindness for others, touched all those who knew her.

Krys will be lovingly remembered as the heart and soul of our family. She was our biggest cheerleader, our closest friend and our constant source of unconditional love. Always strong and brave, she fought for as long and as hard as she could, with courage and without complaint.

The family wishes to acknowledge and send a special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at The Dorothy Ley Hospice and CarePartners and Tenzin, Jessica and Adrian from Home Instead for their loving care and compassion, allowing Krys to spend her final months in the home she loved, surrounded by family.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to Dorothy Ley Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
