Kim Marie Cooper (1961-2021)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce Kim’s unexpected passing on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the age of 59. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack, mother, Thelma, sister, Joanne, and her maternal uncle, Jim. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia and brother-in-law Raymond, her dearest friend, Lloyd Marsden, who profoundly mourns her loss, her beloved aunt, Sally, nephews, John, Alex, and Lee and great-nephew, Zack, maternal cousins, Bradley, Karen, and Kelly, and paternal cousins, Kelly, Cathy, and Andrew.
Residing in Toronto since her youth, Kim was surrounded by a cadre of amazing friends who loved and cherished her. Friendship meant a great deal to Kim and brought her infinite joy in life. She was a great listener and a wise confidante, a tireless advocate and care-giver for her mom, and a vital source of positivity and laughter to all who loved her. Kim found her true professional family working with Toronto Hydro as an occupational health nurse; she flourished there, forming lasting bonds of affection with colleagues and co-workers throughout her tenure. Kim was the best sister and soul-sister imaginable, and life will not be the same without her. Kim, you were taken from us much too soon.
If donation is preferred in lieu of flowers, please forward to Trillium Health Partners Foundation website. We are grateful for the care provided to Kim by Trillium medical teams.
