It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 72. Devoted husband of Jean for 43 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Ryan. Cherished brother of Leonardo Fernandes, Jennifer Affonso, Vernon Fernandes and Russell Fernandes. Kevin has been reunited with his parents Lawrence and Josephine. He will be sadly missed by his many family, friends and his bowling league buddies of “The Codgers” and “The Vanguards.” Kevin’s favorite past times included cooking, cricket and boxing. He now has the best seats in the house to watch his favorite teams the Bluejays and the Raptors.

A private family mass will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Effective March 15th, 2021, as per the mandate of the Bereavement Authority to safely manage and adhere to the social distancing requirements.
Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral mass and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, Kevin's family asks that donations be made to Covenant House of Toronto and The Good Shepherd in honour of Kevin's life.
