Kevin Umadhay passed away quietly at his home in Brampton, Ontario in the early hours of June 9, 2021 at the age of 27. He will be dearly missed by his Mother Gemma Cant, Step-Father Robert Cant, dear brother Kessy Clark; his father Abelardo Umadhay and aunts Virgilia C. Koss (Dennis) and Theo Calimot, the Cant and Mitchell Families and all his relatives and friends in the Philippines. We would like acknowledge the wonderful people of Ward Funeral Home.

Don't grieve too long, for now I'm free, I'm following the path set out for me. I took God's hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found my place at the close of day. When my parting leaves a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. My departure now is my relief, don't lengthen it with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me, for He set me free.

In accordance with directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, Services can be held within the funeral home, accommodating 15% occupancy of our visitation rooms and/or Chapel. .

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory as per the Provincial Regulations.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the interment will be private.
