It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Kenneth J. Sherar on June 7th 2017.
Retired after 40 years of loyal service at Kimberly Clark Canada Niagara Falls and Rexdale Ontario, he quietly passed away surrounded by family at Village of Sandalwood Long Term Care Home
Beloved husband of Doris Belle (Reddick) Loving father of Norma Guido (John) and Carolyn Sherar. Forever remembered and loved by grandchildren Jack Guido, David Guido (Robyn), Alexis Roissl, Bretten Roissl, and great-grandfather of Owen, Madelyn, and Samuel Guido. Predeceased by his two sons, Wayne K. Sherar and Randal J. Sherar and sisters Joyce McRae and Marjorie McQuestion, and brother Colin Sherar. Born in Niagara Falls, Ontario July 7, 1928 to Pearl and Harry Sherar, he leaves behind brothers Edison (Maria) Stanley (Diane) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (52 Main Street South, Brampton) on Monday June 19, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday June 20th, 2017, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton). Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.
