Retired, 40 year employee of C.N.Rail. Post-retired, part-time employee of Via Rail and GO Transit.
Peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at Leisure World – Norfinch in his 82nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret. Loving father of Gordon (Dale), Vena and Moses (Suzette). Cherished grandpa of Danielle (Rob), Jenn, Kate (Jason), Nick (Laura), Mat (Stephanie) and great grandchildren Abby, Ben and two on the way. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Leisure World for their love and care of our father over the past seven years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Saturday from 12 noon until time of the Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to either the Toronto Zoo or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
