Keith Joseph O’Brien CMA
O’Brien, Keith Joseph, 64, of Brampton, Ontario, beloved husband and best friend of Linda (Laverty) O’Brien, for 43 years, passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Keith, devoted father to Son Geoffrey, and predeceased by his beloved Daughter Heather on July 19, 2013. He is lovingly remembered by Cousins, a large extended Family and a circle of close Friends.
Keith was born in Montreal, Quebec on February 26, 1949, moving to Vancouver in 1973, and finally calling Brampton home in 1983. He was an Accountant, Teacher, Lecturer, Author, Retail Fraud Examiner, Umpire, Referee, Coach, and Successful Entrepreneur. He served in The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada with the rank of Warrant Officer, played Swing Tenor in the Toronto Black Watch Association Pipes and Drums Band, and is a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South Brampton, on Friday September 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services to be held on Saturday September 7th at 11:00 am at St James the Apostle Anglican Church, 3 Cathedral Road, Brampton.
