NISHIDA, Kay - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Kay in her 83rd year on December 28, 2009 at Scarborough General Hospital. Predeceased by Harry, her loving husband of 42 years. Beloved mother of Joanne and her husband Brian Terakita, Glenn and his wife Laurie, John and his wife Susan. Proud Ba-chan of Brad, Jaclyn, Kristi, Graeme, Megan, Kate and Stephen. Dearest sister of Fusaye, Shirley and Shiz. Predeceased by sister Tomi. Auntie Kay will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow at Riverside Cemetery & Crematorium.
