It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Peterke, affectionately known as “Kay,” at the age of 79. Kay is now reunited with her loving husband, Michael (Mike) . She was a doting mother to Karen and Kris, and a cherished grandmother of Jack and Peter.

Kay was born in Owen Sound to Robert and Edith Morris. She grew up as one of eleven siblings, with six sisters and four brothers. She was the beloved sister of Glen, Marge, Luella, Ken, Sharon, Tom, Mary, John, Linda, and Patricia.

Kay loved music and dancing and it was on the dance floor where she met her loving husband, Mike. She enjoyed spending her time reading, playing cards, and baking her family's favorite pierogies, bread, and buns.

She lived a very selfless and devoted life, always putting everyone else first, especially her children. Kay lived each day to its fullest, and she will be forever loved and sorely missed.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral service will follow in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm.
