Kathleen Love

Kathleen Margaret Love - Born in London, Ontario March 14, 1935. Passed peacefully at home May 12, 2021.

Loving wife to John B. Love (deceased), beloved mother and best friend of Jain Parish (Rod) and Rebecca Parish. Much loved sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Kay, as she was known to all, graduated from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, London, Ontario 1955. She went on to a career in nursing, with a brief time as a TCA stewardess. Kay ended her nursing career at the Shouldice Hospital. With John, Kay had many happy years travelling, sailing and skiing. She was a long-time member of Taoist Tai Chi®️. Through her activities, Kay made many friends who will remember her dearly.

Missed by her sisters: Amy (Wentworth), Patricia (Orville, deceased). Aunt to Kathy (Joe), Stewart (deceased), Jim, Stephen (Michele), Andrew (Nohemy). Great nephews: Francis and Gabriel. Stepmother, grandmother, and great grandmother to the extended Love family: David (Shanmarie), Paul, Mark (Debbie), grandchildren: David, Cheryl, Sarah (Paul), Emma (Kyle). Great grandchildren: Nathan, Jax, Sierra, Vienna. Kay is predeceased by her parents Thomas Brown Stewart and Shirley Maud Gale and by her step-mother Vera Audrey (Schott) Stewart.

Private arrangements for cremation have been made at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel. Burial to follow in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Street Health or Taoist Tai Chi®️ at Taoist.org would be appreciated.
