Kathleen "Kathy" Maltby

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on March 19, 2011 at the age of 53. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her husband David Lloyd, step sons Adam Lloyd, Ian Lloyd, Michael Maltby, Chris Maltby and by “grandson” Colin Maltby. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Rosella Connolly. Also, predeceased by husband, Ken Maltby. Kathleen was always a happy person and will be sadly missed by her sisters Maureen Leighton (Richard), Sheila Dalton (Ted), Colleen Libiec (John), Theresa Connolly-Depencier (Craig Baird), and brothers Michael and Patrick. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all Doctors, nurses and attendants at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic for their excellent care over the past year. Also, thank you to Dr. Benjamin, nurses and personal support workers who attended to Kathleen at home. A very special thank you to Kathleen’s compassionate and caring new “sisters”, Kuldeep and Dany. Kathleen was Born in Hamilton where she began a long and successful 33 year career with Royal Bank, making numerous friends along the way. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, “Oakville Chapel”, 109 Reynolds St., Oakville, Ontario L6J 3K4 on Saturday March 26, 2011, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm where a Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 pm.
