Kathleen Gordon (called Mama)

Kathleen was born January 16th 1929 and she had 8 children two are deceased. She is survived by her 6 children Winifred, Eragean, Fredrick, Courtney, Fitzgerald, and Christine. Kathleen leaves behind 6 siblings, 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Kathleen came to Canada in the 1970’s to pursue a better life for herself and her children. She was a single mother who raised her 8 children on her own and later raised some of her grandchildren also. Mama, as she was known by many, worked at the Hospital for Sick Kids for many years until she retired.

After retirement mama enjoyed her life to the fullest with her family taking many trips to visit many different countries/islands, volunteered her time with many different organizations of which she has received many awards. Mama, always the 'life of the party', of great wisdom, high energy and many talents are some of the great things she will be remembered for.

She will be missed by all that know and love her, our dear Mama rest peacefully.

Respecting the current limited restrictions, the funeral service and interment will be private, however the family has provided the opportunity to view the funeral service from the comfort of your home through a livestream link. This link will become available at the time of the service.
