It is with great sadness, the family of Karl Leitner announces his peacefully passing at home on July 10, 2015, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Helga Maria Louise Heinz. Loving father to Michael and his wife MJ. Devoted proud Opa of Kristy, Mikey, and Tomy.
Brother of Rudy and the late Lajos.
Karl was born in Sopron, Hungary and emigrated to Canada in 1957. He and his wife worked hard to build a beautiful life for their only son. He was a skilled tradesman, businessman, and gentleman-farmer.
Karl loved to talk to people especially young people and he always had a wealth of stories and advice to pass along. He was an avid reader and loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and the opportunity to fix anything. He will be greatly missed by his family.

A funeral service will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, Ontario, on Tuesday, July 14th at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife.
