Peacefully at the age of 57 years at the Trillium Hospital on Saturday, October 30, 2010 with her family by her side. Beloved daughter of the late Robert and Mary Richardson. Dear sister of Wayne, Earl and Pam. Aunt of Bob, Danielle, Jim, Michelle and Samantha and their families. She will be sadly missed by her very special friend Stephen. Karen will be fondly remembered by those within Community Living who lovingly cared for her for so many years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road ( north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the Ward chapel. Interment to follow at Pine Orchard Cemetery, Stouffville, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
