Juvenal Belo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juvenal Belo in his 74th year. Loving husband and best friend to his “Honey Bunny” Diana for 51 years. Cherished Father to their children Nancy (Stephen Groff), Michelle (David Tomassetti) and Richard (Sabrina).
A devoted Grandfather “Avo” to Lucas, Jacob, Sierra, Jaiden, Marco, Nathan and Leila. He was a loving and supportive family man. His family was his “everything”. He loved to spend time with his family on vacations, sunny days by the pool and Sunday dinners. There are no words to describe his place in our hearts and how much he will be missed. He influenced our lives through many cherished memories, with laughter, countless “ Juvanisms” and happy times.

Juvenal was the son of Antonio and Lourdes Belo and brother to Tony, Joe (Delores) Maria (Peter), Duarte (Sue), Ernie (Diane) and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. When he married Diana, Juvenal was welcomed by his caring in-laws Antonio and Mary Alves and his brother-in-law Joe. He was embraced by the many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in the U.S.A. Everyone will miss his conversations about politics, history and the stock market but mostly they will miss his joy for life, sense of humour and big heart.

He journeyed to Canada from Madeira, Portugal at the age of 16 years. He was an avid soccer fan and semi-pro player. He loved time with his many great friends watching a Benfica game or enjoying a Portuguese dinner in the City. He pursued his entrepreneurial passion as an owner of Future-Tec Electrical Contractors for 25 years earning a reputation as a loyal and honest person and business man. Juvenal made many friends in the industry and for those that knew him, a handshake was a promise that he always kept.

We will miss this incredible and amazing man, however we know for certain that his legacy will live on forever.
