Where am I going? I don’t quite know.
Down to the stream where the blue bells grow.
Up on the hill where the pine trees blow
Anywhere, anywhere, I don’t know.
A.A. Milne
Judy knows her way now, but the rest of us have to wait and just enjoy the memories of her life as it intertwined with ours.
She was a special person with a unique blend of beauty, intelligence, accomplishment, humanity and purpose.
Judy passed away Friday morning.
She died peacefully at home by the window overlooking her garden and surrounded by her family and friends. Her dog Tipper was nearby.
She battled her cancer for over two years with an unbounded passion for life, a dedication to her work and a love for everyone around her.
Judy was the beloved wife of George Ayers and youngest daughter of Marge and Emeron Zackoski, Mesa, Arizona. She was a proud grandmother to William Marshall. Judy is greatly loved and missed by daughter, Karolyn Marshall, son-in-law Curtis Marshall and mother-in-law, Dorothy Ayers of Brampton, and all the Ayers family. She is loved by her sisters Margo Hinnenkamp, Morgan Hill, CA, Catherine Laurel Brookes, Virginia Beach, VA, and brother, Michael Zackoski, Melrose, MN.
