Passed away peacefully at the age of 80.

Predeceased by parents Elgin and Kay (nee Lewis).

Survived by many Graham, Johnston and Lewis cousins.

Joy graduated from Streetsville High School in 1966 and then went on to Lakeshore Teachers College. She started her teaching career in Hudson, Ontario.

She returned from Hudson to Malton and continued her teaching career in Adjala, where she remained until her retirement.

In 1987 Joy moved to her home in Alliston where she lived until 2021. Due to declining health she left her home and moved to Riverwood Retirement Home.

Left behind are her “cottage girls” and her travel friend Barb Lawson.

Joy was an avid traveler and organized monthly trips to Casino Rama.
