Joy Cooper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Joy Cooper (nee Worgan) predeceased by her husband Victor Cooper & her parents Ralph & Margaret Worgan and brothers Douglas (Helen) & Dick (Dorothy) Worgan; nieces Gail Worgan & Judy Gilbert, & predeceased by nephews Bob & Alan Worgan and lovingly remembered and adored by her extended family and close friends. All of who knew they held a special place in her heart.

A resident of Thistletown from childhood, Joy spent much of her youth working in Worgan’s Market where she displayed her unique creativity with flowers and seasonal decor. In 1953 Joy married Victor Cooper and together Vic & Joy became involved in thoroughbred horse racing where they enjoyed the excitement of the social life and lifestyle for many years.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday March 15th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
