Joshua Neil Johnson
Passed away suddenly in Ottawa, Ontario on Friday July 22nd, 2011 at the age of 25. Joshua lived in Ottawa with his life partner Samantha Marchand. Joshua was born and raised in the Ottawa area, went to High School in Oakville and returned to Ottawa to attend Carleton University. For the last several years Joshua was a forest fire fighter for the MNR based out of Pembroke. Although his life was short it was full of love for family, friends, music, sports and the outdoors.
Joshua will be greatly missed by his parents Leonard and Jill Johnson and brother Zachary. Grandparents Vivian and Garnet Mundt, Lofty Johnson and Dianne Blakemore. Aunts and Uncles Anne and Vern Barr, Roy Mundt and Debbie Jones, Patrick Mundt, Larry Johnson and Lori Christie.
Friends may be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Tuesday, July 26th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Glen Abbey United Church, 1469 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville on Wednesday, July 27th at 1pm. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
