Josh Shufelt

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Josh Shufelt on May 18th, 2022, at the age of 42 years old.

Josh was born on June 1st, 1979, in Amherst, Nova Scotia to Blanche and David Shufelt. At a young age, Josh showed interest in working out, which would lead to a career as a professional Personal Trainer. He loved sports and was a real fan of the Montreal Canadiens, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Toronto Raptors. Josh also showed keen interest in football and the UFC.

Josh’s easy-going personality and kind-heartedness made him well liked by many who had a chance get to know him or have him as a part of their lives.

Josh will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Ivy; his parents Blanche and David Shufelt of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia; his mother and father-in law, Juanita and Philip; his sister-in-law, Michelle, and his many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30th from 6-9pm and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 10:30am. Both services will be held at Ward Funeral Homes located at 2035 Weston Rd.

With the safety of everyone in mind, the family has requested that masks be worn by all who are attending the visitation and Funeral Mass

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice, in lieu of sending flowers.
