Surrounded by his family at his bedside on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Michelina. Father to Jane (Mike Cuoco), Vincent (Anna), Mario (Angeli Montealegre), and Patricia (Saverio Bozzo). Grandfather to Sebastian (Marisa), Marco (Diana), Fabbio (Cynthia), David, Michael, Nicole (Andrew), Vanessa (Octavio) and Adam. Great-grandfather to Stefano, Isla, Juliette and Mila. Joseph will be dearly missed by his entire extended family and all his friends.
Born in Malta on April 7, 1929 to Maria and Vincent Mifsud, Joseph was the second oldest of 14 children. He immigrated to Toronto in 1952, and married Michelina in 1955. A devoted family man, who cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joseph’s passions were gardening, love of canaries and horses, and he enjoyed listening to country music.
