Joseph Nicholas Dunne September 15 1931 - May 16 2017 After a long and happy life, Joe passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Joe leaves Nuala, the love of his life and wife of 61 years, and their children Gerri (Bruce), Peter(Nadia), Bernice (Rob) and Laura (Kevin). Joe's nine grand children -- Brian, Brent, Alessia, Taylor, Maeve, Rebecca, Brendan, Isabel and Natalie -- were each a special light in his life. Joe's life was filled with the joys of family and he treasured his siblings, his siblings-in-law, and all his nieces and nephews who all loved their Uncle Joe. Joe is predeceased by his siblings Paddy, Eddie, & Nonie and many close friends. Visitation will be on Thursday May 18 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm at Ward Funeral Home 'Oakville Chapel', 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Joe's Funeral mass will be held at St Dominic's Roman Catholic Church at 2415 Rebecca Street in Oakville at 11am on Friday May 19. The mass will be followed by burial at Springcreek Cemetery at 1390 Clarkson Road North, Mississauga. Everyone is welcome to a celebration of Joe’s life at Michael’s Back Door at 1715 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to World Vision
