Passed away in the arms of his loving wife and daughter and surrounded by his cherished grandchildren, son in-law Fabio and his most cherished brother and sister in Christ Dave and Jay on Friday January 20, 2023 at the age of 85. Devoted husband of Cecilia of 25 wonderful years. Proud father of Vera (Fabio). Loving Papa to Lana, Luca and Leila. Joseph will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Joseph was so proud to come from Shediac, New Brunswick the lobster capital of the world. He loved to show his family his childhood home.

Joseph was always very faithful to his Church family at New Life Community Church in Brampton. Joseph always said ‘I love my Church’. He was generous beyond belief, feeding the homeless and giving to everyone, always putting others before himself. He was empathetic, sympathetic and a supportive listener.

His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He would pull pictures out of his wallet and show everyone he met. Joseph would talk and brag about his family and his dear friends who were his extended family. He made friends everywhere, his friends from McDonalds and Tim Horton’s will miss him dearly.

God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be.
So he closed his arms around
you and whispered "Come to Me."

You didn't deserve what you went through,
so he gave you rest
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.

And when we saw you sleeping,
so peaceful and free from pain,
we could not wish you back
to suffer that again. "It is well with my soul."
