Passed away peacefully, after a battle with cancer, on November 11, 2011. Beloved husband for almost 59 years of Anne Worndl. Loving Father of Martin (Barb), Tom (Michele), Andree (Arunas) and Doug (Johanna). Doting Grandfather of Erin, Katie, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Daniel, Paul, Mary, Mathew (Nadine), Maryte (Jordan), David, Joseph and Madeline. Predeceased by his brother Martin, Hans ~ John will be dearly missed by brothers Walter, Franz and his sister Maria and their respective families in Austria. John was completely and totally devoted to his wife and his family. He was an avid skier and sailor. He had a 22 year retirement committed to keeping his children’s and neighbour’s homes and vehicles in an excellent state of repair. He was a terrific and generous man in every respect. Memorial donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, xxxx address Brampton on Monday from 2-4 and from 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Mary’s Church , time, xxxx address Brampton.
