John Andre Wolsegger

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Village of Humber Heights at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Wilma for 56 wonderful years. Loving father of Bernie (Ivana), John (Charlene) and Steven. Cherished Opa of Tanya (Andres), Natasha (Daniel), Makaela, Justin and Ryan. Dear brother of Max (Maria), Adolfine and Meane. He will be forever loved by all his extended family and friends here and in Austria. A heartfelt thank you to his family physician Dr. W. D’Andrea, and his Doctor, nurses and staff at the Village of Humber Heights for their exceptional care and compassion of John. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Village of Humber Heights would be greatly appreciated.
