WHITNEY, John Alexander 'Jack' - 1923 - 2009 (Veteran R.C.A.F. WWII) Passed away at home in Weston, Ontario at the age of 86 on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Beloved husband of Rita. Loving father of Robert (Elaine), Tom (Anne), Wendy (Paul Bertin) and Deborah. Caring grandfather of Beth, Laurie, Chris, Leslie, Catherine, Carla and Michael. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Monday, November 16th, from 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Church, 49 George Street, Weston. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
