Sterritt John Robert

Passed away peacefully, at Amica in Georgetown on Sunday, July 10, 2022, while surrounded by his loving family. John was in his 93rd. year. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Lillian Sterritt (nee Leslie) 2012. Loving and caring father, he will be sadly missed by his children Garry (Jean), Wayne (Deborah), and Kevin. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Kate, John, Diana. Christina, Leslie, Kyle, and Cameron. Lovingly remembered by great-grandchildren Matthew, Grace, Shawn, London, Olivia, Benjamin, Samuel, Molly, Joe, John, Harrison and Emma. Predeceased by brother Malcolm (Patricia), and by sisters Isabel Wilson (Jack), Joyce Wylie (Jack) and brother David (June). Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Service will follow in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Hillcrest cemetery in Norval. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the staff at Amica Georgetown for their care and compassion while their father resided there.
