John Shaub

Suddenly on March 29, 2011 in his 70th year. Dear husband for 23 years to Patricia Thompson. Father of Lyndyn and Leslea of Oakville, Ontario and Lisabeth of Toronto. Loving grandfather to Ally, Jaclyn, Samantha, Annie and Ellie of Oakville, Ontario, and Joshua, and Hannah of Toronto. Jack is predeceased by his parents Harold and Eileen, and his younger brother Bud. He is survived by his sisters Lynn Shaub Benton,of Ellicott City, Maryland and Carole Shaub Shade of Charleston, South Carolina. Born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Jack lived most of his life in Oakville. He worked for Ford Canada for 34 years. After his retirement he continued to work for Ford on contract until his death. He will be remembered for his many charitable undertakings, in Canada and abroad. Friends are welcome to visit at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, in Oakville, Friday April 8, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Visit the memorial book at www.wardfuneral.com.
