John Purvis

Purvis, John Dolway Jr. (born December 6, 1953). Passed away October 25, 2013. Beloved husband for 40 years of Sharron (nee McDadd). Devoted father to Shannon and (Mike Goumans). Loving son of Clara Purvis of Windsor and the late John (Jack) Dolway Purvis Sr. Idolized older brother of David (Pauline) of Brampton, Brett of Guelph and Kathy (Mark Usher) of Orangeville. He will be sorely missed by Sharron's sisters Dianne (Jack Van Den Brekel) of Ottawa and Kerry (Bill Sinden) of Acton and by his many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was a long-time time employee of Toyota Canada, and John was an antiques collector specializing in bottles and earthenware. He was a life long hockey and baseball fan and lover of many different types of music and books. May he rest in peace.
