John (Ian) Maberly It is with sadness that the family of John (Ian) Maberly announces his sudden passing at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on July 16th, 2009 at the age of 72 after a long struggle with heart disease. Loving husband and best friend of 48 years to Ann (Campbell). Wonderful father of Ken, Doug (Shelley) and Bruce (Catherine). Proud and loving "poppa" and grandpa of Connor, Rowan, Isaac, Ian and Elizabeth. Faithful son of the late John and Catherine Maberly of Glasgow, Scotland. Loving brother of James (Sandra) and the late Peter (Cathy) of Scotland. Ian will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, close friends and his friends and colleagues at Otis Canada where he worked for 42 years until a well deserved retirement. Many thanks to the medical staff at OTMH for their top rate care of Dad, especially the staff in the heart clinic. We invite Ian's friends to join us for a memorial celebration to be held on July 22nd, 2009 at Burlington East Presbyterian Church, 505 Walkers Line, Burlington, ON at 12:00 noon.
