John (Jack) Robert Waters

 John Robert (Jack) Waters On Friday April 11, 2025 at Credit Valley hospital Jack Waters passed after a short illness. Jack is predeceased by wife Dorothy who passed away December 16, 2024 and by his first wife Lois Ellen Green. Father to Richard (Margaret Northfield), Wayne (deceased) (Patricia) and Judy Muir (Thomas). Son of the late Winnifred and Robert Waters and brother of Donald. Jack’s life was full with six grandchildren: Cynthia, Patrick (Renee), Leigh (Gordon), Amanda, Kimberley Lamoureux (Pat), Kassie Muir and four great grandchildren: Madison, Kyle, Jason and Joshua. He will be fondly remembered by Dorothy’s family, Susan Fernane (Mike), Glenn and Gerry Dalzell, step grandchildren Stephanie (Sean), Jamie, Dan (Bruna), Nick (Drishti), two step great grandchildren Evelyn and Nolan and Dorothy’s brother-in-law Terry Walker and his family. Jack was born in Toronto, September 3, 1929 moving to Port Dalhousie and then Brampton in 1957 where he went into the metal fabrication business with his late partner Robert McDonald (Jane) at Waters and McDonald. He became an active member of the business community and leader in the Kiwanis Club of Brampton. Jack retired briefly in 2009 until returning to a parttime metal fabrication broker role until the fall of 2024. Jack loved to relax on the water. He had several boats where he and Dot would entertain and tour the St. Lawrence, Rideau Canal and Ottawa river. His last boat was docked at Ontario Place where there were many happy family gatherings that will be fondly remembered. Visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday April 17th at Ward Funeral Home Brampton, 52 Main St. South. Visitation from 11-12 with a service to follow.
