John Hazlewood

Dr. John Hazlewood in his 90th year went peacefully in his sleep on March 21st, 2021 at the Kincardine hospital. John was born on June 27th, 1931 and was married to Audrey Jean for 58 years. They lived in Toronto for most of their lives. John made the move to Kincardine to be closer to his family and lived at Trillium Court Seniors Community. John will be dearly missed and he leaves behind his children, Debbie Hotson (Geoff) and Don Hazlewood (Angela). Doug Hazlewood (Linda), John’s first born is pre-deceased. John has five grandchildren: Sarah Rice (Shannon), Matthew Hotson, Mark Hotson, Jonah Hazlewood (Kat), and Aaron Hazlewood. John also has two great grandchildren (Charlotte Hazlewalsh and Wilde Hotson). Due to the pandemic a private service will be held. A big thank you to the excellent staff at the Kincardine hospital and Trillium Court for their wonderful care of John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in John’s memory would be appreciated.
